Leonard received his Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Michigan in 1973 and Juris Doctorate from Detroit College of Law in 1976. Admitted to practice in all State Courts in Michigan, the Federal Court for the Eastern District and Western District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Lecturer on insurance litigation in Michigan. Faculty member, National Business Institute, “Insurance Litigation in Michigan”.
